A still life that I wanted to do in autumn. I love the smell of fresh apples and even though I prefer eating green ones, the warm colours of those just make me happy. I added a woven basket, a wine/water jug and a gourd to have the typical Bulgarian feeling of a small village preparing for winter, but still enjoying the last sunshine rays. I put all of the items on a cloth to push that theme even further. It was a good exercise for me and I still like the feeling it gives off. 
 
The technical side was challenging in terms of rendering so many materials to look convincing and prioritizing a good focal point with so many similarly coloured items. This was also my first big still life and even though I expected it might be a bit boring, I actually enjoyed the process a lot.
