Koprivshtitsa is a Bulgarian village with rich history and many of the houses there are turned into museums and even new buildings are made in that style to protect the beauty of the place. It's a place famous for its bravery and revolutionary activity during Bulgaria's occupation by the Turkish empire. This is a place I particularly love in the back streets of the village.

It's one of my more complex pieces with many different techniques applied, but as this place no longer looks the way it did when I painted it, I am very fond of this painting. I believe its future owner is going to buy it along the history the place itself gives, but also the moment my own eyes have witnessed. A big part of it is made Alla Prima (without waiting for layers to dry) with only a few added layers to give it more volume and the level of detail it has.
